DVD Review: Ancient Aliens
Written By:Jeff Behnke
Posted:8/26/2009
As a matter of principle, I would watch just about anything with ’aliens’ or ’ghosts’ or ’conspiracy’ in the title— “Ancient Aliens” thus fits the bill quite nicely for a Wednesday evening. And considering I’ve watched so many of these documentaries, I’ve developed a taste for certain things in them…much like a connoisseur of instant coffees would develop preferential tastes for certain flavor crystals... go to article>>

DVD Review: Nostradamus: 2012
Written By:Jeff Behnke
Posted:7/22/2009
During the 15th Century when astrology was one of the fundamental studies within medieval universities, Nostradamus made a decision to profit from his astrological skill through numerous books of dire predictions. One of those predictions in particular has found its way back to us in the recently discovered Lost Book of Nostradamus—which, like Nostradamus’s predictions themselves, may or may not be fake—concerning the end of the world. go to article>>

Book Review: The Hologram by Jeff Behnke
Written By:Darryl Sloan
Posted:2/25/2009
This book is quite unlike anything I have ever read. For a tagline, the author says, “Enjoy this exploration of immaterialistic intuition,” which I think is highly appropriate and was intrumental in attracting me to the book. The term “The Hologram” refers to reality, and the author’s view that reality is much more fluid and changable than we are prone to think. The laws of physics themselves are not set in stone, but exist in the experience of our collective minds. We are literally making reality as we go along by probing it and measuring it. go to article>>

Probably because of its association with slavery, the southern half of the United States contains heaps of ghost lore, and The Bell Witch Legend DVD is a successful contribution. Add this DVD to your collection right along side of Zac Adams other effort, Southern Haunts. go to article>>

Book Review: Jeremiah Bloom and the Amulet of Osiron

What is it about pirates? The boats, the swords, the brandy, the wink of the eye they give the poor as they steal from corrupt governors…reading about them is sure to leave an impression on anyone with an active imagination and empty pockets.... go to article>>

Book Review: The Sacred Book of the Werewolf
Written By:Paranormal News
Posted:8/30/2008
The Sacred Book of the Werewolf is so rich in symbolism that I hardly know where to begin. On the surface, it seems to be the story of a teenage oriental prostitute named A Hu-Li who falls in love with a werewolf in her travels through modern day Russia. But underneath that relatively thin layer is a tale more about a Russian crisis of identity, and mankind’s crisis of identity as well, as both attempt to transform itself from tailless monkeys into something else--the super-werewolf. go to article>>

Children’s Book Review: Welcome to Monster Isle
Written By:Paranormal News
Posted:8/25/2008
I think most people have a bizarre fascination and would probably enjoy being stranded on an island, myself included--at least for a short while. This book will take you and your children on that adventure, and given the beautiful illustrations, your imagination and your children’s imagination will be completely immersed in that netherworld known as--well, Monster Isle. go to article>>

Book Review: The Hidden Whisper

For those of you missing the days of Scully and Mulder, there is at least one author who’s feeding our paranormal fiction addiction: JJ Lumsden. Written in a brisk cheeky style, his new book “The Hidden Whisper” is well worth the weekend read. go to article>>

X-Files: I Want to Believe -- Review
Written By:Paranormal News

Carter always wrote the first and last episodes of an X-Files season, so when watching this movie, that is definitely the impression you will get--you will feel you are watching either the close or an opening of a new season. But honestly, as long as you go into the theater knowing this, you more than likely won’t mind at all. This one is the equivalent of 2 new episodes, so enjoy. go to article>>

Book Review: Infinite Love is the Only Truth - Everything Else is Illusion
Written By:Paranormal News

I recently read David Icke’s “Infinite Love is the Only Truth - Everything Else is Illusion” and considering that I really hadn’t seen all that many honest reviews in the paranormal community over this book (in fact most books in the paranormal community aren’t peer reviewed since everyone seems to be afraid of doing so), I thought I would write one and share my two cents. Great! go to article>>

07/21/2009 - DVD Review -- Nostradamus: 2012

Many theories have been put forth concerning the cosmic influence of the stars upon your body, but regardless, whether or not you live a life as defined by your stars and interpreted by an astrologer is a very personal choice--it is this choice that the documentary will lead you to consider. How does one apply its message? If the wheel of time is any indication, the system has already applied it for us.
