In 1988, I discovered that a vintage blue rhinestone brooch was missing from my jewelry box. It was given to me by my grandmother not long before she passed away, so it was very dear to me. I rarely wore the piece and I remembered seeing it in the box many times. I looked all over for the brooch, every room in the house.

My family and I recently went on a trip to Olympia, WA. We were on a forest trail; there were 5 of us there, and it was about 2 in the afternoon. 4 of us went ahead while my sister stopped to take some nature pics of the path behind us, as the forest was very beautiful. She doesn't like people getting in her nature pictures, so she double-checked to make sure no-one was in the shot when she took it. However, when she looked at it later, she found this.

Over the years, there have been many stories of extraterrestrials / alien beings healing afflicted humans. Many of these accounts are hard to fathom, but there are a few that make one wonder on the authenticity of the claim.

One evening one of my friends came into student union carrying an old Ouija board. He said that he had bought it at a second hand shop in town. There were five if us, so we decided to use one of the old study rooms in my dorm.

Around midnight on June 25, 1973, a young couple was parked by a desolate riverside for a romantic interlude when they came face to face with a huge, wet, hairy, mud-slathered monstrosity with a penchant for disturbing teenage lovers.

I sat up in bed and switched on the nightstand light. I continued to hear the voice but could not understand what it was saying. I looked in the direction of the desk and noticed that the wicker floor basket was shaking slightly.

One of the spookiest stories of a celebrity ghost involves the alleged entity of actor George Reeves, best know to a generation of pre-adolescent Baby Boomers for playing the Man of Steel on TV's Adventures of Superman throughout the 1950s, and whose dark and mysterious tale was dramatized in the 2006 film Hollywoodland.

William B. Gill, an Anglican priest with a mission in Bosinai, Papas New Guinea, observed craft-like UFOs (one with humanoid figures on top) on two consecutive evenings, June 26-27, 1959. About twenty-five natives, including teachers and medical technicians, also observed the phenomena. They "signaled" the humanoids and received an apparent response. This was one of sixty UFO sightings within a few weeks in the New Guinea area.

Are the Kentucky werewolf / dogman accounts worthy of our consideration? The following article was written by a writer named Jan Thompson. The website where this article originally appeared was taken down by the author after the story was deemed by some people as fiction. I'm not going to go into that scenario considering the source of the accusations. The article has been reprinted by others though I cannot attest to the exact content those versions presented. There are several investigators in Kentucky and elsewhere who believe that Jan's story is credible. Colleagues from the area of the incident have talked to others who have met Jan. I also want to give credit to Barton Nunnelly who brought this story to the public's attention in his documentary Hunt the Dogman: High Strangeness in Western Kentucky

This account from my archives describes a reader's experiences with 'Shadow People'. Even though I may not personally agree with all of the writer's assessments, it is still an interesting narrative.

JC Johnson and some of the Crypto Four Corners team, Leonard Dan & Jack Cary, were interviewing Gerald Bringle, a geologist & Bigfoot enthusiast. He had previously accompanied JC and the team at their study site in the Chuska Mts. of New Mexico. Gerald was recalling an earlier expedition, in the Bradshaw Mountains of Arizona (Prescott National Forest) along the Burro Creek. This location is approximately 50 miles northwest of Phoenix.

As some of you may know, I started investigating paranormal activity in 1977. Back then, there were very few investigators of unexplained phenomena. This particular investigation was conducted in 1984 at a location near my workplace. Some of Maryland’s most interesting history occurred along the Pataspco River. From Parr’s Spring to Elkridge, the river valley’s geography goes from a cold piedmont stream to a rugged, rocky gorge into a coastal plain. Many of my investigations have been in locations closely related to the river. Many paranormal investigators have concentrated on locales around Ellicott City. I like to dive deeper into the Pataspco River’s haunted history

In 1978, Christina Crawford, Joan's adopted daughter, wrote Mommie Dearest and shocked the United States with her heart-wrenching story of what it was really like growing up with one of Hollywood's most famous leading ladies. In 1989, there were rumors of haunting manifestations in Joan Crawford's former home.

The Beast of Gévaudan is a name given to man-eating wolf-like animals alleged to have terrorized the former province of Gévaudan, in the Margeride Mountains in south-central France from 1764 to 1767 over an area stretching 90 by 80 kilometres. The beasts were consistently described by eyewitnesses as having formidable teeth and immense tails. Their fur had a reddish tinge, and was said to have emitted an unbearable odor.
