during the last few weeks the orbit of the Earth is nearest the Sun that it comes to in the 365 day yearly cycle of ours.
It is winter here in the North, but summer "down under." It is the time of year we get our great earthquakes. There is likely to be sounds our pets can hear but we can not. California rocks!

someof the sounds recordings appears to sound like the steel bending you hear when large ships start to sink.

I have been hearing about this more and more. What is so crazy is that tonight, a friend of mine said that in Thomasville ALABAMA, my home town, two hours north of where I currently live, they said that it was all over town, everyone was hearing loud noises in the air. Lol, have no idea if it has anything to do with this, but I just find it very ironic.

The sky was rumbling here in thee Cincinnati area this morning around 6ish. Sounded like a very low rumbling noise. It lasted for a good 4 or 5 minutes.

Is that what the gas grid on the sky is for? To HIDE the alien ships surrounding us? Eek! Transformers!

The sounds are easy enough to explain with no big Mystery. They are Angel Farts.

The several recordings I have heard online have all sounded like variations of large trucks "jake breaking". We hear it all the time now down here in S.TX because of the influx of oil field work. Those sounds can travel quite far depending on weather conditions. In fact I just heard heard two really loud ones a few minutes ago and had a little chuckle thinking I should make a video and post it online as "UNEXPLAINED EARTH/SKY SOUNDS!!!".

Of all the things out in the paranormal and normal worlds, some things fascinate me other scare me.... but this has a certain effect on me... i cannot describe it. its like hope mixed with dread goosebumps... i love it and Jester87 if the Audio in that clip is genuinely just the compilation of all the noises and nothing more... thats incredible this is amazing!

As an avid Skyrim player, I can tell you that those sounds are Dragons. Elder Dragons.

Bugsy-I`ve read all those sounds being described separately, by different ppl, so yeah, I think that`s what we`re hearing all together.

Where i live in England on the 12th April 2012 late afternoon i heard an extremely loud what seemed to be thunder but wasn't as the earth somehow rumbled for a few seconds. Now over here in England the story was, that it was 2 jets that were scrambled, codswollop, as there was a photo released of a strange shaped UFO in relation to what the loud banging was. I didn't really give it much thought until i watched episode 20 series 4 of fringe, and the bangs on the episode are exactly what we were hearing here, on the program fringe some people who were experimented on years ago as children were going to certain places and setting of somesort of earthquake, they had to close down the portal to the other earth timeline to stop it from happening again, so perhaps there is more to this than we could possibly know.
