Share your thoughts below. Are cults still among us? Right in our own towns and communities?

Cult originally just meant religion. Nowadays, we use the term to mean 'dangerous group that leads people astray to take their money and/or convince themselves to harm themselves or others'. Of course there are such groups. You could call fanatical church groups a cult by that kind of definition, or political zealots. They're not all Satanists by any stretch.

Has anyone here ever actually read the satanic bible? It is nothing more than a book using religious tones as an excuse for sex. I have read it. It is a joke really.
I personally believe people trying to use satanism as a religious experience are simply people so fed up with society and its conform or be cast out policy using satanism as the ultimate form of social rebellion towards a society who will put fifty christian churches in every town but not one single wiccan church LOL!

Wiccans can't build churches in towns because they would not be able to pass the building codes to get a permit. :)

Wiccan church bill of materials list.
1. 5000 pounds of packed mud for the foundation
2. 1000 uneven hickery branches
3. 10000 feet of rope made from cat hair to hold the branches togather.
4. 3000 pounds of old clothes and pine needles for roof thatching.

See its a safety hazard. LOL
