When I was five years old I kept having a recurring dream about being taken from my bedroom at night (this part is hazy) and ending up in an area by my house that had new housing construction. Within the partial framework of the houses there were benches made from scraps of wood arranged in a circle. I was sitting with other children of different ages but mostly very young. During this time their was an "instructor", when telling my parents I referred to him has a monster, since he didn't look like anyone/thing I had ever seen. I can just remember him telling us stories (I wish I could remember them). After these secessions I would end up safely back in my room. According to my Mom, I had these "dreams" several times over a period of a year. I am now 50 years old and am still haunted by these dreams. Now I am not sure that they were dreams, but something that I cannot explain. I am reaching out to see if anyone had ever heard of anything like this. I have been seriously considering hypnosis to bring me back to those times to see if I can find out anymore information.

When I was five I awoke one morning to see a large white bird (?) Flapping its wings furiously and flying through the ceiling. I jumped out of bed but was dizzy and disoriented for about 30 seconds. I went downstairs and my grandfather asked me what I had been doing to make so much noise. I told him. I got a licking for lying. But I would not change the story. He took me upstairs to investigate and there were two small white feathers on the floor. I still have them.

I also had a "school" dream. In mine an odd looking teacher was explaining reincarnation. (She looked almost right, but not quite) She had a blackboard and even diagrammed the points for us. We too sat on benches. I was four.

Imagine if you will what a stir this created at my little cousin's funeral a few months later as I tried to explain to his mother, my mother and the priest about reincarnation and why they should not be so sad. I was told I was too young to understand these things. I in turn was just as adament that they were too dense to understand. Getting kicked out of a church when you are five goes a long way toward understanding the differences between religion, faith and spirituality.

Jag, personally after years of self discovery , seeking & prayering I have found God / spiritual has nothing to do with church or faith

I once had a dream. I went to a world inhabited by anthropomorphic bears. I suddenly woke up in a rustic bed. I got up and went down stairs. There was a bear family down there. They knew I replaced there son for awhile. They just loved me uncondishonally. I spent tons of time with them and saw there whole village and everyone got along. There was no under tones of lies or selfish ambition. The whole place was just good. I spent days or weeks there and when they knew I was going to wake up they even packed me a picnic basket of all things. They said it had everything I would need. Never did look in it and everyone waved me goodbye. I could stay there forever. It was so easy to love and be loved like, that like breathing. You just knew that there was no gossip or backstabbing no hurtfull sarcasm and i someone did tease. Gyou it was with a good nature and nothing but playfull love. I can't really put it into words. Like trying to describe the color orange to a person that's been blind there whole life. Never forgot what it could be like though

Huh! Guess I miss out. I don`t have stairs. Maybe look under my front steps? For real, I`m seriously searching, but can`t seem to find what I`m searching for.

Do you know what your looking for? That often helps.

I had a great grandmother Alice Graham who died in 1974 at the age of 99, she was OES. She left books by the Rosicrucians, secret college, how to walk through walls, etc. Very strange reading indeed.

Nope-I keep thinking I`ll figure out what I`m searching for, but no luck yet.
Maybe I`m looking to find out EVERYTHING. Therefore, I can`t focus enough on ONE thing to figure out.,Make sense?

Wereparadox, I started a thread on here a few months ago, I think it was titled "How do you know" or something like that. It was about searching for something, not knowing what it was, or where to find it. Sounds strange, I know, but that`s my confused state of mind.

I understand perfectly, you know what it is but you just can't think of the words to describe it.

I understand too, its like we r searching for the truth but there so much, maybe were not meant to no the truth about everything. Kinda like blind faith

My guess is spooky is really old or really young. Silly goose is one of those words. She still gets points for sweetness. And one more for purity.

I wish blind faith would have done at least one more album. We're meant to know whatever we can learn.

I believe we`re born with an insatiable curiosity-at least most of us. I think I got a double dose. lol
And I want to know and understand so many things.
Is there a God? Are there angels, spirit guides, translucent beings floating around out there? If not UFO`s, what is everyone seeing? Do we have a spirit? Can we bring things to fruition simply by intention?
These are only a few of the things I think about.
